Most men do not need to be convinced to pray. They need to know what to say after the first two minutes. Without a plan, prayer drifts to the same three requests and whatever is stressing you that morning, and whole areas of your life go months without being prayed over.

The Prayer Battle Plan fixes that with two pages: a daily framework that gives your prayer a shape, and a seven-day rotation that makes sure your wife, your kids, your work, your brothers, and your money each get a day.

The house rule

“A man who prays with a plan prays with power.”

What's inside

  • Surrender prayer — praise, confession, and handing over the day, anchored in Job 22:21
  • Kingdom prayers — four prompts: marriage, children and family, work and leadership, brotherhood
  • Notes from the Holy Spirit — space to write what you hear when you ask what He is saying
  • Today’s verse and specific prayers — the requests in front of you today
  • The weekly rotation — Monday marriage, Tuesday work and team, Wednesday children, Thursday brotherhood, Friday financial stewardship, Saturday health and rest, Sunday worship and surrender

How to use the prayer list

  1. Keep page one with your Bible. Work through it top to bottom each morning. Ten to fifteen minutes.
  2. Follow the day’s focus. Check page two for today’s dimension and go deeper there.
  3. Write names, not categories. Your wife’s actual worries. Each child by name. The colleague you are struggling with.
  4. Listen before you leave. Ask the Holy Spirit what He is saying and write it down.
  5. Watch for answers. Mark answered prayers. You will need the record on the hard days.

Ten to fifteen minutes for the daily framework. Go longer on the day’s focus area when you can.

Is this related to the War Room battle plan?

It shares the idea of praying with a written strategy, but it is our own framework, built around a man’s responsibilities: marriage, children, work, brotherhood, money, health, and worship.

Cover every dimension. Every week. No area left unprayed.
