The Daily Battle Prayer
A daily spiritual warfare prayer for men who lead. Before email or news, you surrender the day, declare who God says you are, renounce the enemy's lies, and put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6). Six moves. Ten minutes. You fight from victory, not for it.
No hiding. No excuses. 100% in the light.
The 10-Minute Engine
Three moves, in order, before the day gets a vote
Start in worship, not in email. Pray the Battle Prayer out loud and hand God the day before the calendar takes it.
Declare who God says you are — victorious, forgiven, called, free — each declaration anchored to Scripture.
Ask “What’s Important Now?” Write the verse, the gratitude, the prayer, and today’s top 3 — then close the day in the light.
Pray It Every Morning
The Daily Battle Prayer
Surrender
Father, I come to You this morning to surrender — everything. My heart, my mind, my body, my family, my work, my plans. You are my Creator, my Redeemer, and my King. I hold nothing back.
Identity
I am Your son. Chosen, forgiven, set free, and called for a purpose. My identity is not in my performance, my title, or my failures — it is in Jesus Christ, and it cannot be taken.
Renounce
I renounce every agreement I have made with fear, shame, pride, lust, comparison, and defeat. I bring them into the light and break their claim on me. Christ has set me free.
Armor
I put on the full armor of God: the belt of truth, the body armor of righteousness, shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit — Your Word.
Stand
In the authority of Jesus Christ, I stand against every scheme of the enemy aimed at me, my family, my brothers, and my mission today. It has no place here and no power here.
Send Me
Holy Spirit, fill me. Open my eyes to where You are already at work, and give me the courage to join You. Today I fight from victory, not for it. In the strong name of Jesus, Amen.
The armor is not a metaphor to admire — it is Ephesians 6:11 (NLT): “Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil.” Pray it out loud. Words spoken in the authority of Christ do work that silent wishing never will.

What is a spiritual warfare prayer?
A spiritual warfare prayer consciously resists the enemy’s schemes and stands in the authority of Christ. Ephesians 6:10-18 (NLT) frames the Christian life as a battle “against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world” and calls believers to put on the full armor of God. The Daily Battle Prayer follows that pattern: surrender, identity, renouncing lies, armor, standing, and being sent.
How do I pray the armor of God prayer?
Pray through each piece of armor from Ephesians 6:14-17: the belt of truth, the body armor of righteousness, shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is God’s Word. Name each piece out loud and ask God to clothe you in it for the day ahead.
What is the Daily Battle Prayer?
The Daily Battle Prayer is a six-part morning prayer for men from the 10XF Daily Practice: Surrender, Identity, Renounce, Armor, Stand, and Send Me. It is prayed out loud before email or news — handing God the day and taking a stand in the authority of Jesus Christ before the day gets a vote.
Why should a man pray first thing in the morning?
Most men manage their mornings; men who lead master them. Starting in worship instead of email hands God the day before the calendar takes it. Ten minutes of prayer, Scripture, gratitude, and setting your top three orients the whole day around who God says you are — so you fight from victory rather than for it.
Does spiritual warfare prayer actually work?
Prayer is not a formula that manipulates outcomes; it is aligning with a battle Christ has already won. Spiritual warfare prayer works by bringing hidden agreements with fear, shame, and pride into the light and standing in Christ’s finished authority. The change is real — in the man who prays it, and in how he leads that day.
